Some personal news this week: I have decided not to run for reelection as Northern Middlesex Register of Deeds next year and will retire when my current term ends on January 1, 2025. It has been a privilege to represent you as Register of Deeds, and I sincerely thank everyone who has supported me in my past elections.
Dick, It is rare these days when one gets to cast a vote for any office where I get to do so with complete confidence and trust that I am voting for the most deserving and qualified candidate for that position, rather than just voting for the lesser of two evils. I want to thank you for your years of exemplary service and giving me the opportunity to cast my vote proudly next to your name on the ballot knowing I was voting for the person who deserved and earned my vote as Register of Deeds. Your record in office leaves a legacy and set a high bar for the next person to serve in that office. May they do so with the honor, commitment and expertise that you provided to the office. Congratulations on a job well done and glad we have you until next January.
